The Fundy Skateboard Association is spearheading the effort to build a top-notch skateboard park along Harbour Passage and on the waterfront in Saint John. Skateboarding is the second fastest growing sport industry in the world (National Sporting Goods Mfg Assoc). Generations will be able to share this exciting facility and celebrate the art of this exhilarating sport. The Park is designed for boarders, bikers and bladers and is a positive investment in our youth and the life they bring to our city and province.
The X-Park will be a pivotal landmark for young and old of our region. The proposed location will complement and adjoin two of the most successful recreational initiatives in the recent history of Saint John: Harbour Passage and Harbour Station. The Park will also be ideally situated in uptown Saint John.
The Saint John X-Park is a positive investment in Greater Saint John’s youth, providing a much needed venue for our young people to enjoy one of the worlds fastest growing sports. The X-Park is a world class facility to be located on Saint John’s waterfront with high visibility, security lighting, and easy access for public transportation.
