Saint John Coast Guard Site

Located in the heart of the waterfront, this six acre site will be the location of a $75 million redevelopment project that will transform Saint John and the waterfront.   The proposed development by The Hardman Group, will link the site to the current indoor pedway system and will include a hotel, condominiums, an educational facility, office, commercial and retail spaces as well as public spaces.  To view The Hardman Group Plans for this site click here.




CenterBeam Place

With the support of the city's Preservation Review Board, a Saint John city block dating from the late 1870s is being restored by Commercial Properties Limited.  The buildings are reclaiming their historic position in the Trinity Royal district of uptown Saint John as new commercial and retail space. Fort Howe Townhouses

These ultra modern and lavish townhouses have changed the look of historic Fort Howe. There are now 22 units sitting on the limestone cliff that overlooks the Saint John Waterfront.




Robertson's Wharf Condos

Scotport Developments Inc. has developed condominiums, near the entrance of Harbour Passage. Robertson's Wharf consists of 13 condominium units in a four-storey complex. The condos are one level, open concept homes ranging in size from 1,030 square foot one bedroom units up to 1,851 square foot two bedroom units, as well as three Penthouses. Bentley Crossing

Bentley Crossing Subdivision provides a commanding view of the Saint John Harbour. Harbourfront Residences at Three Sisters

Located at the juncture of Prince William and Water Street, Harbourfront Residences at Three Sisters is planned to be a 125-unit waterfront condominium community of town homes, suites and patio residences. It will include a public courtyard, private 5,000 square foot terrace for residents only, heated underground parking and many indoor amenities for a truly carefree lifestyle. Stehr Building

Renovated in 2003, this heritage building has been restored to it's past glory while incorporating modern technology. It has been designed as business offices.




Linden Place

In 2004, Linden Place celebrated it's grand re-opening.   Formerly a Racquetball club and offices, this waterfront complex now houses Acadian Bus Lines, the VON and several other offices.




Jacquelin Premises

The Jacquelin Premises officially opened March 18, 2005. This brick and sandstone building contains professional offices and has a magnificent view of the Saint John Harbour. Owner/developer Dr. Andrea Garland has integrated plans for a Phase II and Phase III into the design of the building, should demand support expanding the project.




Red Rose Tea Building

Building was constructed in 1903 and was refurbished in 2000. The structure has been designated a heritage building and has retained it's 19th century exterior while boasting state of the art technology.

Pugsley Development Site

The Saint John Port Authority has issued a request for proposals for the commercial development of a portion of Pugsley Terminal.  This site is located between Duke Street and Princess Street and is adjacent to the Saint John Port Authority Cruise Terminal.

Passage View Townhouses

This three unit luxury townhouse development is located on prestigious Douglas Avenue and has commanding hilltop views of the City of Saint John, Harbour Front and Harbour Passage. Restoration of King Street

Since 2001, local business people have been working to restore many of the heritage buildings on King Street.  Some of the heritage buildings that have under-gone restorations include: Birks Jewellers, CenterBeam Place, Opera Bistro and Tim Hortons.

Hotel Renovations

Several hotels have also undergone extreme makeovers and additions including:

  • Hilton Saint John which has recently begun an extensive interior re-design of all guestrooms & suites, hallways, upper & lower lobbies, restaurant, lounge, pool/exercise facilities and meeting space.
  • Hotel Courtney Bay has undergone a number of renovations, including new flooring, bedding and windows.  The hotel has also recently gone green with a formidable recycling and compost regime.
  • Fort Howe Hotel and Convention Centre is getting a facelift, with public spaces, guestrooms and pool all under construction. Fort Howe is also doing its part for the environment, changing to energy efficient bulbs and implementing a recycling and compost program.
  • Delta Brunswick is renovating all guestrooms and meeting rooms.  Each guestroom will have new pillow top beds, wall-mounted flat screen televisions as well new refrigerators and new lamps.
  • Howard Johnson's has been purchased by DP Murphy (NB) Inc. and after being completely renovated, re-opened May 1, 2005 under the Holiday Inn Express Brand.
